Awesome!
Steve and Charley Crockett, my two good friends, felt like I was at a party and got to eavesdrop on a conversation between....or as I like to call them; Steve Martin Short. Steve seemed to feel uncomfortable about the whole idea at times, but that was probably just some insecurity about holding a conversation in front of a theatre full of strangers, especially since rumor has it that he's not great with strangers. And this fact was unfortunately brought up as the very first question by some woman who apparently has passed Steve in the street several times and wondered aloud why he wouldn't ever say "hello" to her. I think I would ignore her too! I wanted to boo her question, but I was afraid people would think I was booing Steve. Charley was able to overcome uncomfortable spots with his quick witt to fill in gaps caused by stupid audience questions.
Clips were shown from the past along with an appearance by Jiminy Glick which were all very enjoyable. A bed was rolled on stage so Steve could take a nap during Charley's song about the happily departed Bin Laden.
Overall, it was extremely entertaining to watch these two terribly clever and entertaining fellows. I wouldn't hesitate to buy tickets over and over again to see these two in what turned out to be not a very stupid conversation at all.
